Everything in the universe has its own specific frequency. With numerology you are able to establish your major frequencies by looking at your name and birth date numbers.

How to read a numerology chart

There are many pieces of the numerology puzzle with interconnecting numbers and influences which can be accurately interpreted.

A numerology chart is broken down into sections starting with the seven Personality Numbers which includes:

The Life Path Number (Also known as Ruling Number)

The Destiny Number (Also known as Expression Number or Name Number)

The Soul Number (Also known as Soul’s Urge, Soul’s Desire or Heart’s Desire)

The Personality Number (Also known as Outer You or Outer Personality Number)

The Maturity Number (Also known as Power Number, Attainment Number or Realisation Number)

The Current Name Number (Also known as Minor Expression Number)

The Birth Date Number (Also known as Day Number or Day Born Number)

There are also the Karmic Numbers and Forecasting Numbers

Numerology Basic Calculations Used For The Life Path Numbers

Numerology can be calculated by anyone with just a pen and a piece of paper using either one of two methods. (Don’t be put off with the math as it’s just simple addition.

Adding Cross Method

The first numerology method is Adding Cross Method. For example, let’s consider the number 12. If you add 1 + 2 then you get 3. Along the same lines, if you took the year number 1986 and add 1 + 9 + 8 + 6 then you would get 24. 24 can then be further reduced to 6 by adding 2 + 4.

All numbers can be reduced to a single number 1 through 9 with the exception of 11 and 22 using this Adding Cross Method because they are the major vibration numbers also known as Master Numbers.

The Reducing Down Method

The second numerology method is Reducing Down Method. You reduce down the month, day and year numbers down to three different single digit numbers unless you get the two master numbers 11 or 22. They should not be reduced down.

For example lets look at the following birth date January 11, 1943 (01-11-1943) – This is an example of working out a Life Path Number.

0+1 / 11 / (1+ 9+4+3 = 17)

1      11    1+7

                    8

Now add the totals together and reduce down until you get to single figures unless you 11, 22 or 33 which are the master numbers with the reducing down method

1 + 11 + 8 = 20

2+0 = 2 Life Path Number. So for the example above the Life Path Number is 2

Numerology Basic Calculations Used For The Destiny Numbers

The letters in a person’s name can be converted to numbers and then may be added together. These numbers can then be consequently reduced to single a number unless they are the master numbers 11, 22 or 33. For example, the letter A would be 1 and the letter B would be 2 and so on and so forth. Below is a chart that will show you all of the numbers as they are assigned to the 26 letters of the English alphabet:

Lets look at the name JANE DOE

J     A    N   E                         D    O   E

1 + 1 + 5 + 5 = 12                 4 +  6 +  5 = 15

1+2 = 3.                                   1+5 = 6

3 + 6 = 9 Destiny Number. So Jane has a Destiny Number of 9.
